Resilient Seated Gate Valves: Core Isolation Equipment for Buried Municipal Water Pipelines

Resilient seated gate valves are essential isolation valves for buried water distribution mains. Our factory produces both ductile iron and stainless steel resilient seated gate valves, including non-rising stem type specially optimized for limited-space valve pits. The fully vulcanized rubber encapsulated wedge achieves bi-directional tight sealing, minimizing water leakage and non-revenue water loss for water utilities. Non-rising stem design keeps handwheel height fixed during operation, so there is no need to reserve extra vertical space for valve stem movement. Ductile iron versions follow AWWA C515 standard for municipal water networks, while stainless steel gate valves are available for special clean water systems. These valves are widely used for zone water cut-off during pipeline inspection, maintenance and emergency repair, protecting the whole water supply network from unexpected shutdown.
